About
Meet the Artist Jake
A tattoo artist based in Austin, Texas, working out of a private studio just 10 minutes north of downtown. I’ve been in the tattoo industry for 4 years, and in that time, I’ve explored just about every style out there. From bold blackwork to fine-line realism, I’ve built a strong foundation that allows me to bring nearly any idea to life.
While I’m comfortable working across styles, I specialize in Japanese tattooing — a tradition I’ve admired long before I ever picked up a tattoo machine. There’s something powerful and timeless about the flow, symbolism, and storytelling behind Japanese tattoos that continues to inspire me.
My journey with tattoos started young — at 15, I was already obsessed. I did whatever I could to get ink on myself and others, chasing the feeling of creating permanent art that means something. That passion has only grown. Today, I focus on constantly improving my craft, learning every day so I can turn my clients’ ideas into lasting, personal artwork.
Working with Me
What matters most to me is that each client feels heard, supported, and confident throughout the entire process. Tattooing isn’t just a job — it’s a meaningful exchange, and I feel lucky to connect with every person who sits in my chair.
client reviews
He really listened to my vision for the piece and brought it to life beautifully. His linework is incredibly clean, and you can tell he’s meticulous and thoughtful about how he works. He kept my skin clean throughout the session and took his time to make sure everything was done right. We spent the whole day working together, and even with the long session, I felt relaxed and well taken care of. At one point, I think I even dozed off a little because I felt so calm and safe.
The vibe in the shop added a lot to the experience too. It was nice talking with Jake and the other artists, including the owner. Everyone was welcoming, easy to talk to, and genuinely kind. Jake also let me join his Spotify session and pick the music, which really helped set a good mood. Having artists like Hozier playing in the background made the experience even more calming and enjoyable.
I also really appreciated how careful he was with the stencil placement. We tried a couple different sizes, and when we found the one that felt right, he took the time to position it thoughtfully. That made a big difference and saved time later on since we didn’t have to reapply it.
Jake is clearly talented and hardworking. You can tell he cares deeply about his craft and is putting in the work to build his career as a tattoo artist. I’m excited to come back for my second session, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him—especially to other women looking for a safe and supportive tattoo experience.
From the moment I walked into the studio, the ambiance was incredibly welcoming. The space was clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed—dimmed lighting, chill music, and an overall calm vibe that instantly put me at ease. It felt more like an art studio than a traditional tattoo parlor, which made the whole process feel more personal and relaxed.
Jake was warm, friendly, and attentive from the get-go. They took the time to listen to my ideas, offered thoughtful suggestions, and even sketched out a few different options before we settled on the final design. Their patience and genuine passion for their work were clear throughout the entire process.
When it came to professionalism, [Artist's Name] was top-tier. They followed all safety protocols, explained every step of the procedure, and made sure I was comfortable during the session. The equipment was sterilized, and everything felt extremely clean and safe.
As for the tattoo itself—flawless. The line work is precise, the shading is smooth, and the detail is amazing. You can tell this is someone who truly takes pride in their craft.
Whether you're a first-timer or looking to add to your collection, I highly recommend Jake. You won't be disappointed.
